Why do you want private Pilates sessions?
Each of our bodies are uniquely shaped by everyday activities from how we sleep at night & how we exercised (or didn't) when we were 12
to that injury we got in our late 20's and how we train for that triathlon today. Personalized Pilates training applies the intelligent consciousness of Pilates movement to YOUR unique body.
There is nothing like the sharp eye, astute touch,
experienced cuing & ever-growing knowledge of a well trained instructor working with the particular ways in which your body is organized.
You will learn lots of practical & deep body lessons that will help you understand your physical self and improve how you move through life.
Many of us are first exposed to Pilates through group mat classes. Mat classes are an excellent, affordable way to get most of your body into shape, but only in a private session can you really receive the full benefit of what Pilates has to offer.
Private and semi-private (2 people) sessions incorporate the full range of Pilates apparatus (reformer, cadillac & tower, wunda chair, ladder & step barrel, etc).
Sessions begin with an analysis of your posture which is used as a guide to your body's strengths & weaknesses. A program is designed to address your personal needs, whether you sit at a desk everyday or practice Muay Thai Kickboxing 5 times per week.
Pilates to the People provides a free postural assessment on the first session before your regular hour long work out.
