What can you expect from a Mat class?

You can expect to find your core in brand new ways!  No, really!  Here are some familiar after-class comments:

In some ways, Mat can be the most challenging form of Pilates because it's just your body and the floor with no other support.  Yet it's the most accessible form due to the low cost & the fact that we each already have a relationship with movement and rest on the ground.
 
It can be gentle, like physical therapy & Feldenkrais, or hard, like gymnastics & athletic cross training.  Most classes are in between, of course, and provide a healthful range of movement experience that will tone your body and give you the distinctively Pilates feeling of length & strength.
 
Try it for a few weeks to feel the difference it can make in your life!
