After having a baby, mothers may feel as if their abs has been lost for good. Moms might think “How will I ever be as strong as I was before?” With the Mommy/Baby class, you will learn how it’s possible to feel even stronger than before!
BRING YOUR BABY! And, baby permitting, even use him/her in the workout! In this non judgmental environment, we will strengthen the abdominal muscles, stretch the body, and give your body an overall healthy tone.
Feel free to bring your stroller, receiving blankets, diapers, milk, car seat, and Boppy to lye your baby down during certain exercises. You can attend to your baby at any time for feedings and then come back for the next exercise. Babies up to two years old are welcome, but stroller may be preferred for babies older than one year.
This class is also mindful of Diastasis Recti, the separation of the Rectus Abdominus (six pack muscle), and will modify any exercise as necessary with anyone who has this.
Get healthy and fit in a relaxed, accepting and encouraging atmosphere!
